ThumbsUp SMILES Project

The ThumbsUp4Kindness Smile project is a very simple concept to Inspire Kindness. The commitment is so simple all you have to do is draw a SMILEY FACE on your THUMB! Drawing a smiley face is a way to engage students to buy into a day of unconditional kindness! It's our goal that your students will inspire kindness with their peers, teachers, administrators, support staff and community.

The program is open to anyone who wants to enjoy a day of spreading GOODWILL & KINDNESS!

How do you participate?

  • Draw a Smiley Face on your Thumb!

  • Be Kind All Day!

  • Change the World - With Kindness!

Here is an example how we Inspire Kindness in our community. Mahki has been in and out of Childrens Hospital since birth and we wanted to make his day with a little Power of Community.

Special thanks to RJ a local 6th grader in the WIldwoods that understands the
Power of Community by Paying it Forward.
Inspire the World with Kindness

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Giving not only makes you feel good, it also makes you stronger.

  • We feel happier when we perform acts of kindness.

  • People who are kind and compassionate are usually the most successful.

  • We increase [children’s] feelings of happiness and well-being, reduce bullying, and improve their friendships by teaching them to be givers of kindness.

  • Random acts of kindness don't just benefit the ones you gift, but also help your own mental health.

  • When you are grateful and practicing random acts of kindness… the result is inner calm, clarity of thinking and a heart full of love.
